Monthly Bookkeeping

Books that are actually right — every month, without you thinking about it.

Monthly bookkeeping built around how your business actually runs. Every account reconciled to the dollar, problems flagged the month they happen, and a one-page report you'll actually read.

Still doing your own books?

Some owners genuinely enjoy it. Most are grinding through them at 11pm and done with it. If you're the second kind, the fix isn't another app or dashboard — it's a person who owns it. I work with restaurants juggling daily cash, contractors invoicing by milestone, and consultants who just want clean numbers at tax time.

What every month includes

The monthly rhythm

Every account reconciled to $0 variance

Bank, credit card, and payment-platform clearing accounts — the part most bookkeepers skip.

Every transaction categorized — consistently

So your reports mean something year over year, not just this month.

The one-page report

What happened, in plain English: revenue, expenses, anything unusual — and whether you should care.

The watch layer

My anomaly checks run on your books each month — deposit gaps, fee drift, odd balances — and I personally investigate every flag.

Tax-time handoff

Your CPA gets a clean, documented file. No December scramble, no cleanup invoice in March.

Most bookkeeping reports are written for accountants. Mine is written for you.

One page, no jargon, five-minute read. Clients tell me it's the first time they've actually understood their own numbers — and once you understand them, you can act on them.

FAQ

Do I have to switch software?

No — I work in your QuickBooks Online file. If you're on something else (or nothing), I'll recommend the simplest path, not the most expensive one.

What if my books are behind?

That's the cleanup step — a fixed quote before any work starts, typically $2,000–$5,000 depending on how far back things go.

How much of my time does this take?

After onboarding, most clients spend under 30 minutes a month — answering the occasional "what was this charge?" message.

Can you work with my CPA?

That's the design. Your CPA gets clean, documented files; I handle the monthly grind; tax season stops being an emergency.
